This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally. This may require work during non-business hours which include evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and when the University is closed. Emergencies frequently involve difficult working conditions. Some irregular and extra hours as needed for projects and emergencies. Must be able to perform snow and ice removal tasks, and respond at any time of the day or night when scheduled by management therefore, deeming you as essential personnel requiring you to come into work regardless of the weather conditions. This position supports other Facilities Management departments. This position performs routine outdoor labor and equipment operation to support maintenance and development of our General University (GU) grounds. Department: Landscape Maintenance Services
